Still Crazy is a band of accomplished North Carolina musicians performing some of the greatest work from the iconic and influential singer songwriter, from his hits with Simon and Garfunkel to the songs from his masterful solo albums. Join us as we celebrate the music of Paul Simon.
Morgan Davis – drums, percussion
Morgan has a well-deserved reputation as a serve-the-song musician who has performed with national and international recording acts, with such artists as Ben Folds, CJ Chenier, David Ball, and Dave Adams, Countdown Quartet, including US and European tours. His drumming has elevated the recordings of countless artists and been heard on major motion picture soundtracks.
Bobby Patterson – bass, vocals
Bobby Patterson is a superb bassist and vocalist who’s toured the world as leader of Columbia recording artists Dag, and played and recorded with many artists including Glass Moon, My Three Sons, Go There. He has been profiled in Bass Player Magazine.
Tim Smith – woodwinds, vocals
Tim is a masterful multi-instrumentalist who’s lent his musical gifts to countless performances and recordings Hobex, Orchestra GarDel, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and many more.
Sam Frazier – guitar, vocals
An acclaimed singer/songwriter, Sam has released two solo albums, performed and recorded with Martha Bassett, Bruce Piephoff, Mary Lyon, and shared the stage with such luminaries Joan Armatrading, The Funky Meters, The Del McCrory Band, The Neville Brothers.
Mark Simonsen – keyboards
Mark is a highly respected multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer known for his performing and recording work with The Old Ceremony, Tom Maxwell and the Minor Drag, The Dead Tongues and many others.
Roger Gupton – guitar, vocals
Roger is a songwriting guitarist, bassist and vocalist who’s toured and/or recorded with Hotel Lights, Jeanne Jolly, The Backsliders and Caitlin Cary, among others. He’s toured the United States multiple times, performed on the Conan O’Brien show, and has co-written and performed on music featured in television and major motion pictures.
