Lindsey Webster is widely recognized as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary jazz, famously making history in 2016 as the first vocalist to hit #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart since Sade. Often compared to Sade for her soulful poise and Anita Baker for her stylistic depth, the Woodstock native brings a sultry, sophisticated fusion of soul, R&B, and smooth jazz to the stage.

Her music often features an “airy” sound with intricate arrangements—led by her longtime collaborator and pianist Keith Slattery—that provide plenty of breathing space for her storytelling. Webster’s live performances captivate audiences with raw emotional clarity and a “listening room” intimacy that is both powerful and effortless.

With two #1 singles (“Fool Me Once” and “Where Do You Want To Go”) and over eight Top 10 hits, she is a consistent force on the Billboard charts. Her seventh album, Music In Me (released February 27, 2026), marks an evolution in her career, featuring her first recorded duets with R&B icons Anthony Hamilton and Stokley.
