Adam Farber

Partner and Co-Founder

A charlotte native and music lover, Adam is the managing partner and co-founder of Middle C Jazz. When Adam’s not at the club or practicing commercial real estate, you can find him spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling to the NC Mountains or SC coast, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Larry Farber

President and Co-Founder

As both A performer and businessman, Music has been the central core of his life. Known locally as “the music man“, Larry played piano with bands from the early age of 12, and he still tickles the keys from time to time. His 47 years as a founding partner with East Coast entertainment, as well as being the founder of Music With Friends in both Charlotte and Houston add to an impressive resume. Adding to his legacy of musical ventures is now Middle C Jazz. Larry enjoys spending time with family and friends, including many days on the golf course, when not following his UNC Tar Heels.

Reid Farber

Partner and Director of Programming

Reid helps program and organize the great acts that perform at Middle C. A fan of live music and most genres, when Reid is not enjoying an awesome show at Middle C you can most likely find him at any of the other great music venues in Charlotte. Reid also enjoys Panthers games and playing the various golf courses around Charlotte.
Favorite Jazz Musicians: Art Tatum, Thelonious Monk, and Ziad Rabie

Teddy Johnson

Managing Partner

When he isn’t on a Zoom call managing everything Middle C, you might find Teddy sneaking on to the drums at MCJ or hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Teddy Leverages his 30 years of hospitality management experience in leading the team at Middle C Jazz.

Lizzie Taylor

Director of Marketing

A passionate jazz fan, Lizzie works on marketing, Baby Grand hospitality, and assisting in the box office at Middle C. When she’s not at the club, you can find her training for her next marathon on trails around Charlotte or at the Whitewater Center.
Favorite Jazz Musicians: Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Duke Ellington

Maggie Adair

Programming Coordinator

Maggie, a California native who moved to NC in 2020, works in all things programming here at Middle C. She creates the shows you see on our website and ensures our artists are taken care of. Her love of music began early on in band and church choir. She even married her high school sweetheart who she met when she was in Color Guard and he was in marching band. When she is not at the club, she enjoys spending time with her two young girls, reading, and exploring the East Coast.

Julio Rodriguez

Production and Front of House Manager

If you love what you see on stage at Middle C, you have Julio to thank! When he’s not managing the audio-visual production of our shows and while producing and editing all online video content including Middle C Jazz On Demand, you can find him out in the box office ensuring the best possible experience for our guests as the Front of House Manager. Outside of work, he enjoys cheering on the New York Giants, playing video games, and traveling with his beautiful wife Audra.

Sean Mason

Marion Meadows

MAY 10-12

Meadows was born in West Virginia and grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. He began playing the clarinet and studying classical music at the age of nine. He started playing tenor sax in high school, and then migrated to soprano sax.
