Blues rock guitarist Albert Castiglia tops the charts with a grit the comes directly from his Miami background honed by mentor soul blues legend Junior Wells and singer Sandar Hall. Castiglia has earned consistent acclaim for his exceptional instrumental prowess, searing vocals, and high-energy live performances that dazzle audiences from coast to coast.
Castiglia’s career reached new heights with the release of Masterpiece on Gulf Coast Records, which earned him his first Blues Music Award (BMA) for Blues Rock Album of the Year in 2020. Since then, he has become a dominant force in the genre, securing back-to-back wins for Blues Rock Artist of the Year in 2022 and 2023.
His 2023 collaboration with Mike Zito, Blood Brothers, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Albums chart and won the 2024 BMA for Blues Rock Album of the Year. With a trophy case full of honors and a reputation as one of the hardest-working men in the blues, Castiglia continues to honor the traditions of the Chicago and Delta blues while remolding the genre with Americana, soul, and rock edges.
