Singer-songwriter, producer, and Telly Award-winner Robbie Cunningham blends jazz, R&B, gospel, and classical influences to create what he calls “life music.” Raised in Richmond, Virginia, in an eclectic musical household, the self-taught musician began his career playing drums in church before developing as a lead vocalist. Recording under the moniker Robbie Mychals on Philadelphia’s Alpha International label, he earned several R&B Billboard chart placements. Over his career, Cunningham has collaborated with prominent artists like Patti LaBelle and Bob Baldwin, and has earned wide acclaim for his signature vocal tributes to the legendary Al Jarreau. Today, he records under his own name, performs instrumental projects as JazzimatronX, and leads Zoé Music Group to write, produce, and compose across multiple genres.
