CURT KEYZ
Curt Keyz brings a solo, trio and full band R&B experience for a journey through modern neo-soul, blending velvet vocal textures and sophisticated jazz-infused arrangements that feel like a late-night conversation for the soul.
Born and raised in the quiet town of Great Falls, SC, Keyz began as a church drummer, shifted to the piano at 17, and added vocals to rapidly evolved from the rhythm section to the front of the stage.
Since his 2017 debut, Keyz has navigated the industry with authentic, soulful precision. His 2018 album, Love or the Lack Thereof, broke into the Top 20 on Amazon Music’s R&B charts, signaling the arrival of a talent. In 2019, he reached a defining milestone by earning a Stellar Award (Gospel’s highest honor) for his songwriting and composing alongside Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson and R&B legend Spanky Williams.
When the world slowed down in 2020, Keyz leaned into the quiet to craft Black Heart, a passion project centered on storytelling and mental health. This vulnerability paved the way for his sophomore album, CURT(IS)—a magnifying glass over his life featuring collaborations with world-class producers and vocalists.
“Music means everything to me,” Keyz says. “As a producer, my music is fueled by authenticity. As far as my artistry—I’d like to think Marvin Gaye meets Frank Ocean with Southern charm.” By blending the structural complexity of jazz with the raw edge of hip-hop, Curt Keyz isn’t just following a genre; he’s carving a niche defined by honesty, technical mastery, and undeniable Southern soul.
