This week, John Dillard welcomes vocalists Mandyl Evans, Tim Anjel & Gena Chambers for a tribute to the classic, house party. Immerse yourself in a curated set of smooth R&B, classic soul, and timeless jams that capture that nostalgic, heartfelt vibe.
JOHN DILLARD
2-time Grammy winning bassist John Dillard is profusely creative, highly energetic, sensitive and yet dynamic. From Gospel to RnB, Funk to Jazz, John’s versatile style is as at home holding the groove on the local stages of his hometown Charlotte, as performing on main stages around the world with international recording artists.
MANDYL EVANS is the cousin of Gospel great John P Kee. A native Charlottean, Mandyl Evans has been the opening act for Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, and Gladys Knight and toured with R&B singers Stephanie Mills and Calvin Richardson.
GENA CHAMBERS has traveled all over the country performing with notable smooth jazz artists Oli Silk, Will Downing, and Tom Braxton, and opened for giants Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, and Jonathan Butler.
