Part of the Jazz and Soul Inspirations series, guitarist Rod McCoy joins fellow guitarists Christian Grey and Darrin Jackson for a journey through classic songs and iconic guitar solos spanning generations of Jazz, Soul, Rock, and R&B.

Experience the timeless music of George Benson, Prince, Michael Jackson, The Isley Brothers, and James Brown, brought to life by an all-star band featuring Charles Page (drums), Willie Walker (bass), Letron Brantley (saxophone), and Charlton Taylor (keys).

Rod McCoy is a native of the Greensboro/High Point NC area and now calls The Queen City, Charlotte NC home. Audiences are mesmerized by Rod’s playing calling him talented and fun. Rod is truly a crowd pleaser blending a variety of styles into his music as he passionately plays funky, joyous and spiritual licks on his guitar.

Rod has played lead and bass guitar for a variety of notable artist and bands such as Bishop TD Jakes, Donnie McClurkin, Dorothy Norwood, Marvin Sapp, Chairman of The Board as well as well know regional bands.
