JOHN DILLARD
A 2-time Grammy-winning bassist known for his creativity, energy, and versatility. He has performed on stages all over the world, sharing the stage with international/National recording artists such as gospel artist John P. Kee, Daryl Coley, RnB artist Stephanie Mills (MD), Deborah Cox, Tamia, Smooth jazz artist Brian Simpson, Kim Waters, Jeff Kashiwa, Nick Colionne and many others.
GENA CHAMBERS
A talented vocalist who has toured with notable smooth jazz artists such as Oli Silk, Will Downing, and Tom Braxton. She has also opened for giants Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler and sang the National Anthem for the 2016 Democratic Convention.
MANDYL EVANS
The nephew of R&B singer Wilbert Harrison and cousin of Gospel great John P Kee. The Mandyl Evans Group has been the opening act for Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, and Gladys Knight. Mandyl has also toured with R&B singers Stephanie Mills and Calvin Richardson.
TRS
TRS, the dynamic all-female trio of Thia Reynolds, Ruby Edwards, and Sherretta Ivy, has over a decade of shared musical history. Sought-after background vocalists that you’ve seen many times at Middle C Jazz, their impressive resumes include sharing stages with Fantasia, Shania Twain, Alicia Keys, and performing at prestigious venues like The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympics.
