South Carolina native saxophonist Marcus Anderson has created a dynamic national presence, with 18 studio albums and two Grammy and Stellar Award nominations. His unique smooth jazz fusion of R&B, Pop, Rock, and Funk has earned him five #1 positions on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz and Sirius XM’s Watercolors.
His work with the late Prince and the New Power Generation led him to join stages with the likes of CeeLo Green, Bobby Caldwell, Eric Benét, Stevie Wonder, and Brian Culbertson, just to name a few, where he became a key contributor in these touring bands.
Whether he is performing for dignitaries such as President Barack Obama or blazing the stage with Sheila E., Anthony Hamilton, or Miguel, Anderson delivers stellar musicianship every time. Stevie Wonder, CeeLo Green, Lailah Hathaway, Eric Benét, Brian Culbertson, and Jennifer Holiday are just a few of the world-renowned artists that Anderson has shared the stage with.
