HOWARD MCNAIR
With fundamentals forged in the gospel of the church and honed by the improvisational freedom of jazz, Howard’s music is a rich blend of soul-touching genres.
His mother, a talented musician and singer herself, recognized his innate gift early on, and at just nine years old, he became the church’s pianist, an assignment that not only enriched the worship experience but also served as a crucial period for him to hone his skills as a musician and songwriter. This foundational experience prepared him to eventually travel the world, sharing stages with renowned artists across a diverse range of genres including gospel, jazz, rhythm and blues, and hip hop.
McNair has forged valuable relationships within the music industry, leading to collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Mike Phillips, Carol Riddick, and The Hamiltones.
McNair’s creative output extends beyond accompaniment. He began releasing his own music in 2020 with the single “Moments,” followed by “Sumthin” in 2021, and “Hear Me Out” in 2024. He continues to perform, compose, and work on new projects for his growing fanbase. You can experience Howard McNair’s captivating music and accompaniments on all major music streaming platforms.
