PATTI AUSTIN
A Grammy-winning icon whose career spans seven decades, Patti Austin is one of the most versatile and celebrated vocalists in American music. The goddaughter of Quincy Jones and Dinah Washington, Austin made her debut at the Apollo Theater at just four years old and has since become a mainstay on the Billboard charts across jazz, R&B, and pop.
While many know her for the chart-topping duet “Baby, Come to Me” and the Oscar-nominated “How Do You Keep the Music Playing?”, Austin’s legacy is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. Her 2007 album, Avant Gershwin, won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album, and her acclaimed tributes to Ella Fitzgerald—including the 2024 Grammy-nominated For Ella 2—have solidified her status as a premier interpreter of the Great American Songbook.

From her early days as the “Queen of the Jingles” and a prolific session singer for legends like Michael Jackson and Paul Simon to her current status as a global headliner, Austin’s “silk-and-soul” voice and legendary stage wit continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
