National recording artist Tony Exum Jr. blends Contemporary Jazz, R&B, and Funk into an unforgettable musical experience he calls “Rhythm N Smooth.” With a smooth and soulful sound that resonates deeply, Tony has carved out a unique niche in the music world.

His rise to international acclaim began in 2019 with the breakout single “My Name’s Tony,” which secured a remarkable 12-week run on the Smooth Jazz Network’s Top 100 chart.
Catapulted from there, Tony has become a staple in the national contemporary jazz circuit with performances at festivals and stages across the U.S.
Tony’s artistic journey is adorned with two critically acclaimed albums, “Finally” and “The One,” alongside a collection of seven singles. In 2022, he signed with Sony/The Orchard/BSE Recordings, releasing “Everything,” which soared to #19 on the Urban Influencer R&B Soul Chart. His latest offerings include the chart-topping “Hold My Hand” and “Mr. S A X,” currently in the Top 20 of the Urban Influencer Smooth Jazz Chart.
Adding to his accolades, Tony is featured on the 2024 released track “I Wanna Be Closer” with Glenn Jones featuring Eric Nolan of the O’Jays, which hit #1 on the Amazon R&B UK Charts and #1 on the Urban Influencer R&B/Soul Chart, and garnered a 2024 Indie Soul Awards nomination.
Tony has shared the stage with a who’s who of Contemporary Jazz talent, including Adam Hawley, Julian Vaughn, and Najee, as well as R&B stalwarts like Shai, Surface, Donell Jones, Ginuwine, and Howard Hewitt, just to name a few.
