October 2024 –We are thrilled to announce that Middle C Jazz won Charlotte Observer 2024 “Charlotte’s Best” for “Best Live Music Venue”. This crown of the Crown City tops off an incredible week of recognition for Middle C Jazz’s 5 year anniversary.

The Charlotte Observer magazine showcases the effort to discover and celebrate the businesses, people, and places the community loves. As an extension of these goals, the annual Charlotte’s Best invites locals to nominate and vote on their favorite local businesses, with winners announced in this month’s special edition. This year, over 4,600 businesses, organizations, and individuals competed to be named in the top three spots of 232 categories.

Larry and Adam Farber’s vision was to bring a world class jazz club to Charlotte. Five years later, it seems that the community shares an interest in the unique music and ambiance that Middle C Jazz offers. “We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm we’ve received from the community,” said Larry and Adam Farber, and Managing Partner Teddy Johnson.

Staff, patrons, partners, Middle C Jazz Baby Grand members and musicians all have a role in creating a place where one of the most diverse audiences of Charlotte can enjoy everything from jazz to country, from local to international artists. This recognition was driven by votes, and we are incredibly grateful for all those who actively chose to check that box.
