James ‘PJ’ Spraggins is a Top 10 Billboard charting jazz drummer, composer, and recording artist whose groove-driven sound blends smooth jazz, funk, and soul into an irresistible rhythm. With a career spanning multiple albums and singles, PJ has earned a reputation for delivering music that captivates and uplifts listeners. A native of Bessemer, Alabama, PJ’s passion for music began early, leading him to refine his craft through formal training and years of performing with some of the industry’s top musicians. His drumming style is both technical and expressive, setting the perfect foundation for his melodic compositions.
