This year, the celebration expands to a powerhouse quartet, welcoming Broadway soul sensation Morgan James and blues-jazz guitar maestro Doug Wamble. Expect an electrifying “best of” setlist blending smooth jazz standards, soulful pop redesigns, and grit-infused blues, delivered with world-class showmanship and infectious stage chemistry. Join us for a landmark night of collaborative magic as four extraordinary talents toast seven incredible years of live music!
 
Noel Freidline
Pianist, vocalist, and arranger Noel Freidline is a dynamic mainstay of the East Coast jazz scene, renowned for his charismatic stage presence and improvisational flair. Having headlined major festivals and residencies from Las Vegas to Charlotte, his fresh, sophisticated arrangements of pop and jazz standards have made him an essential architect of Middle C Jazz’s signature sound.
 
Maria Howell
Singer and actress Maria Howell—first thrust into the national spotlight in The Color Purple—possesses a voice of extraordinary warmth and power. With a career spanning feature films (Hidden Figures), television, and international music stages, she effortlessly bridges soulful jazz, gospel, and classic R&B with authentic, storytelling elegance.
 
Morgan James
Juilliard-trained singer, songwriter, and Broadway star Morgan James is a powerhouse vocalist acclaimed for her virtuosic range and soulful interpretation. Beyond her theater credits and viral Postmodern Jukebox performances, James has built a formidable solo career blending classic soul, pop, and rock with effortless vocal acrobatics and timeless grit.
 
Doug Wamble
Memphis-born guitarist, vocalist, and composer Doug Wamble seamlessly fuses traditional gospel, Delta blues, and modern jazz. A frequent collaborator with Wynton Marsalis and featured composer for Ken Burns documentaries, Wamble’s slide guitar mastery and soul-stirring vocals bring a rich, groove-driven energy to any stage.
