JOE GRANSDEN
Joe Gransden is a world-class trumpeter, vocalist, and bandleader whose career bridges the gap between the historic big band era and the modern jazz scene. Originally from just north of Manhattan and raised in a musical family, the Atlanta-based artist has released over 17 albums and toured worldwide. Often described as a “Jazz Ambassador,” Gransden is renowned for his dual mastery of a hard-bop trumpet approach and a crooning vocal style that has earned frequent comparisons to Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra.
His extensive performance schedule ranges from regular hometown gigs with his 16-piece Big Band to legendary venues like New York’s Blue Note and Hilton Head’s Jazz Corner, and he even plays private events for Clint Eastwood. A versatile force in the industry, Gransden has toured and collaborated with saxophone giant Kenny G—who produced Joe’s album Close To My Heart—and continues to garner widespread airplay with projects like Songs of Sinatra & Friends.
