General Questions

Where Do I buy Tickets?

This is the official site for purchasing tickets to events at Middle C Jazz . www.etix.com handles ticket sales for events held at Middle C Jazz. Purchasing tickets from any other seller or site runs a high risk of receiving fraudulent tickets or paying inflated prices. Your name must be on our ticket list, or you must be accompanied by group ticket holder, with matching form of payment for admittance.

Middle C Jazz neither promotes nor endorses the use of any third-party ticketing agencies.

THIRD PARTY SELLERS / SECONDARY MARKET

Tickets for shows at Middle C Jazz are sold exclusively through Middlecjazz.com/Tickets or Middle C Jazz box office. We DO NOT partner with third party sellers. We DO NOT accept tickets sold on the secondary market. We reserve the right to decline entry if you are not the original ticket buyer.

Middle C Jazz is not responsible for tickets purchased from third party vendors and is not able to honor, replace, or refund invalid tickets. Please purchase your tickets from only approved sources.

APPROVED TICKET SOURCES: The only authorized sales agents for Middle C Jazz are the Middle C Jazz On-site Lobby Box Office and Middlecjazz.com/Tickets through ETIX.

Is your venue handicap accessible?

We have designated handicap seating that we reserve near the entrance to reduce walking around the club, and we recommend arriving early as it is not guaranteed. As for handicap parking, there is a handicap spot outside on Brevard Street near the club entrance. If you would like to park on the street, please let us know prior and a staff member can open the ramp entrance to the club. Alternatively, you can park in our parking deck located directly above the club. The entrance is on MLK Blvd, parking is free for members and there is an elevator that can take you directly into the box office.

What is the seating policy at Middle C Jazz?

Middle C Jazz looks forward to seeing you at the show. Based on show attendance, we do at times seat different parties together to enjoy the performance.  You just might meet your new best friends!

Where is Middle C Jazz located?

Middle C Jazz is located in uptown at 300 South Brevard Street, Charlotte, NC 28202. If traveling via public transportation, the nearest LYNX stop is the 3rd/Convention Center Station.

Can I host a private event at Middle C Jazz?

Yes! If you’re interested in hosting a special event at Middle C Jazz please reach out to us at rnelli@middlecjazz.com.

Is there a dress code?

Just like great jazz music, let what you wear to Middle C Jazz Club reflect your own personal style. Everything from nice jeans to cocktail attire is perfect for a night out in uptown Charlotte.

Will food and drink be available?

Craft cocktails and delicious small plates are available throughout the show.

Are smartphones allowed?

 Yes, smartphones are permitted. We allow smartphones and photography unless specified & prohibited by the artist’s contract.

 

 

Can tickets be exchanged or refunded?

All sales are final. No refunds, no exchanges, and tickets are not transferable. Guests may transfer from shows on the same day only if availability exists.

How will I receive my tickets?

Tickets may be printed, or tickets may be redeemed using a smartphone. No printing is required.

 

 

Where can I park?

Paid parking is available for $10 after 5pm in the 300 South Brevard deck, accessible via East M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard. Space is not guaranteed. Guests may prepay for parking in the box office before or during the show and save $2.50 on their parking. Middle C Jazz will validate parking for Baby Grand Members.

Is Middle C Jazz 21 and up only?

All shows all ages unless otherwise posted, but please consider this is an adult setting.

 

 

How do I recover a lost item left at Middle C Jazz?

Middle C Jazz adheres to a 30-Day Lost and Found policy. If you leave a personal belonging at Middle C Jazz, it will be held at the club for a 30-day period, after which it will be disposed of. To see if your item is at Middle C Jazz, please call the Box Office from 12 – 5pm, Wednesday through Saturday, and leave a message with your name, callback number, and the item you’re looking for, or email info@middlecjazz.com.

Can I celebrate a special event such as a birthday or anniversary while attending a show at Middle C Jazz?

We welcome all individuals/groups to spend an evening at Middle C Jazz; however, we do not allow any outside food, including cakes, or decor to be brought into the club when attending a public performance.

Middle C Jazz will attempt to seat your guests in the same area; however, those areas of the club are not exclusive to your guests. Once performances begin, all guests are required to keep conversation to a minimum and respect the integrity of the artists, other guests, and performance in general. Any excessive volume of conversation or excessive distractions from the performance by your invited guests will be respectfully addressed by management. Guests are prohibited from being on stage at any time. Middle C Jazz reserves the right to ask any guest to leave the club if these behaviors are demonstrated.

We want your guests to enjoy themselves along with the entire audience at Middle C Jazz and are grateful for your cooperation.

Does Middle C offer a group rate for larger parties?

We are pleased to offer you a 10% discount off of general admission prices for any group sale of 20 or more, up to 40 guests. If guests order less than $20 per person, there will be a minimum Food and Beverage charge of $20 per person added to all checks. All groups will have a 20% gratuity added to the individual or group checks.

Membership Questions

Do you have to have a membership to enjoy a show at Middle C Jazz?

No, absolutely not! All ticketed shows are open to the public. Our memberships give members discounts and many other benefits but are not required to visit Middle C Jazz.

What is a Middle C Jazz Membership?

Our Baby Grand Members enjoy early seating, special membership pricing for all shows, three-day early presale access for most shows, and much more! Click here to learn more.

Do discounts work on any show?

Yes, members receive special membership pricing on all shows.

Can I use my discount for more than one ticket per show?

Yes, up to two discounted tickets per show.

Where is Baby Grand parking?

Complimentary evening parking is available for Baby Grand members in the adjacent parking garage. Please note that we cannot validate parking before 5:00 pm and will not be validated if left overnight.

How Do I Download My Digital Membership Card?

  1. Click on the Membership Card attachment when viewing your Membership Confirmation within your preferred email client (such as Gmail, Outlook, Mail app)
  2. Once you click on the file, the card will open
  3. Use the ‘Add’ button to include the Membership Card in your Wallet app
