Featured Artist of the Week: Rebecca Jade and JJ Sansaverino
Rebecca is an accomplished singer/songwriter and has been able to turn her love for music into a career for close to two decades. Growing up in a musical home, she had been exposed at to a broad range of artists, genres and styles from her mother, who is also a vocalist. With such influences, it seems a natural progression that Rebecca has followed in her footsteps. Rebecca Jade has performed with some of the most sought-after musicians all over the world and her versatility has allowed her many unique opportunities to perform: Rebecca toured with the Queen of Percussion, Sheila E. since 2017 and appeared in the Emmy-nominated show, “Let’s Go Crazy: The GRAMMY Salute to Prince” that aired on CBS in April 2020; She also sang background vocals for Sir Elton John at the 2020 Academy Awards. Rebecca has also been a featured artist on many of Eric Darius’ 2022 tour dates. Rebecca opened for Will Downing and Boney James at a sold-out Valentine’s Day concert in Long Beach, as well as opened for Jeffrey Osborne for the Thornton Winery Summer Concert series, both in 2019; Rebecca has done multiple concerts at Spaghettini in Seal Beach and was the singer in the Houseband at Anthology in San Diego for 5 1⁄2 years; She was the official singer of the San Diego Gulls NHL hockey team’s anthem during their 2015 and 2016 seasons.
With multiple Billboard-charting singles, including a BIllboard #1 smash hit with “Style and Elegance”, and four highly acclaimed albums, New York guitarist JJ Sansaverino has reached millions touring the world with his “Benson meets Santana” musical style. An extraordinary performer, JJ has a “take no prisoners” performance attitude, gracing the stage night after night touring on his own or with reggae legend Maxi Priest and bringing his vibe of Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Reggae. A Berklee School of Music graduate and award winner, he has shared the stage with the likes of Maceo Parker, Victor Bailey, Gerald Albright, Rick Braun, the Marley Family, and even performed for Sir Paul McCartney’s wedding in 2002.

Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials

An Evening with #1 Billboard Smooth Jazz Singer Lindsey Webster
Influenced by everyone from Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera to Steely Dan and Earth Wind and Fire, these days Lindsey Webster still feeds her eclectic taste. Webster made history in 2016 with her original, “Fool Me Once,” which was the first vocal driven #1 song to top the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart since Sade’s “Soldier of Love” in 2010. She beat Sade’s three-week run at #1 with a four-week stay at the top of the charts. She returns to Middle C on on Saturday, September 23 at 7pm and 9:15pm!
