He brings fresh sounds and jazzy blends of instrumentals as well as arrangements, which seem to have no boundaries.

On Thursday, May 26 at 7pm, join us for an evening with Willie Walker Conversation Piece and a tribute to Marcus Miller, Kirk Whalum, Gregory Porter and more! Conversation Piece members include Willie Walker on bass guitar and vocals, Carl Ratliff on saxophone and flute, Darryl Payton on Trombone, Kevin Homesley on keyboards, Jerry Moore on guitar and Christian Whitley on drums.
Join us for an evening with Marcus Johnson on Friday, May 27 at 7pm and 9pm! Marcus Johnson is an independent Billboard-ranked, internationally acclaimed jazz keyboardist, and NAACP Image Award Nominee. To date, Marcus has released more than fifteen Billboard charted CDs, and has the distinction of having his groundbreaking 2008 Billboard Top 20 Contemporary Jazz FLO (For the Love Of) Anthology.

Alexander Zonjic and James Lloyd From Pieces Of a Dream play two shows at Middle C on Saturday, May 28 at 7pm and 9pm!
Featured Artist of the Week: Alexander Zonjic & Friends featuring James LLoyd of Pieces of a Dream
Alexander Zonjic is an International Award Winning musician, producer, composer, radio personality, philanthropist and community trustee whose career, which now spans over 4 decades, has included performances with the biggest names in the music industry, production of world class festivals & events as well as creating millions of dollars of economic impact to the communities and organizations he has adopted.
Beneficiaries of his musical contributions include Charitable groups like the Windsor Downtown Mission, FAR Conservatory…Festivals like Trenton’s Jazz on the River and Monroe’s Award Winning River Raisin Jazz Festival…and many more.Since his discovery by Grammy Award Winning Jazz Pianist Bob James during a performance at Detroit’s renowned “Baker’s Keyboard Lounge”, Zonjic has performed around the world including performances at Carnegie Hall, with symphony orchestras like the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Florida Symphony and has over a dozen recording projects in his discography.
A 1975 graduate of the University of Windsor Music program, Zonjic went on to be mentored by the great Ervin Monroe, Principle Flutist for the DSO. In 2003, he became the only music graduate in University history to win the prestigious Alumni Award of Merit.
His latest CD project, “Doin’ the D”, is a tribute to the City he has called home since beginning his storied career and is a star studded collection of music with special guests including legendary artists and friends like Bob James, Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Maysa Leak and Kenny G.
Zonjic sums up his success this way, “Of all of the success I have enjoyed in my career, the key to it all are the Win/Win relationships I have developed and nurtured over the years with fellow artists, community leaders, businesses and organizations that I am proud to say have all benefited with me along the way.”
Keyboardist James Lloyd, along with friends, bassist Cedric Napoleon, and drummer Curtis Harmon, founded Pieces of a Dream in 1975 in Philadelphia when they were all teenagers. The group based their name on “Pieces of Dreams,” a cover tune by Stanley Turrentine that they performed. The trio became internationally known when jazz legend, the late Grover Washington Jr., announced that he was starting a production company and that Pieces of a Dream would be his first act. Fast-forward 38 years and 20 albums later under his belt with Pieces, Lloyd has written and/or produced songs for many other recording artists aside from Pieces.
On Thursday, June 2 at 7pm, come dance with InfiniteSoul – an eleven-member party band featuring four vocalists and a full horn section. InfiniteSoul’s non-stop, high energy performance is sure to impress!
World renowned artist, Jonathan Butler, makes his Middle C debut for four shows! Join us for an unforgettable evening on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4 at 7pm and 9pm! Over the course of his decade-spanning career, Butler has released more than 20 albums, exploring a broad range of styles including jazz, pop, and gospel.
Soulful Sundays With JD Featuring Vocalist Jay D Jones
Smooth Sundays with JD returns on Sunday, June 5! JD is featuring Jay D. Jones for one show at 6pm. This modern-day “Crooner” is bellowing his way to the top in the Indie industry of music and into the hearts of his fans with his soulful sounds and distinguished gentlemanly image. His artistry is credited to inspiring artists such as Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, and his all-time favorite, The Temptations.
