Noel & Maria Present: Saturday in the Park The Music of Chicago

Chicago defined the 70’s and the 80’s with classic tunes such as “Saturday in the Park” “25 or 6 to 4” “You’re the Inspiration” and “Colour My World”. Enjoy an evening of hits from one of the greatest horn bands in the history of rock and roll.

Each with a long list of accolades, Noel Friedline and Maria Howell are popular returning guests to the Middle C stage. Join Noel & Maria and special guest Adrian Crutchfield as they celebrate what the world needs now: Love, Sweet Love.



5th & York

5th & York have emerged as one of the premier smooth jazz bands to come out of the Southeast. With influences ranging from the Yellow Jackets and Fourplay to the great funk bands of the 70s and 80s, 5th and York look to offer its audience a valuable experience they won’t soon forget.

Their love for music has forged a musical experience with a high IQ and tons of energy that can be enjoyed by the smooth jazz listener as well as those who enjoy classic R&B.

The Yacht Rock Show featuring: Michelle Renee & Mark Black

Michelle Renée’s sultry, smooth jazz style makes for a classy, upscale atmosphere. Paired with her unique ability to sing in 7 different languages, experience performing across the world and appearances on television, Michelle is an act who is difficult to match.

A Clover SC native, Mark Black has made a name for himself in education and in performance, entertaining with party bands across the region.



Smooth Saxophonist Marcus Anderson

The Grammy and Stellar Award Nominated artist is an incredible act and one worth watching, saxophonist Marcus Anderson is the golden child shining among stars. With 13 studio albums on his list of accomplishments, the fusion jazz artist brings R&B, Pop, Rock and Funk to make music that puts listeners in another atmosphere. Charting number one in both categories of Billboard’s Smooth Jazz and Sirius XM’s Watercolors with numerous hits the Spartanburg, SC native is delivering major music in a humble way.



Greggie and the Jets: An Elton John Tribute Band

Greggie and The Jets is an Elton John tribute band, based out of Central Florida, touring the country. Our live shows recreate the music, the energy, and the feeling of being at a classic era Elton John concert. We bring you, note for note, all the elements of the Elton John albums from the singles you love to the deep cut tracks, live and in person.

Alyssa Allgood makes her debut at Middle C Jazz Club in support of her exhilarating new album, “From Here.” Alyssa Allgood is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, arranger and educator with a compelling voice in the modern jazz landscape.

Swingin’ at the Haven – Joe Gransden Quintet with Geff Hayden

Wherever he appears, there’s music—exciting and romantic music—the kind of music audiences love to hear and dance to. Band leader Joe Gransden has performed worldwide and released 16 CDs under his own name. Renowned first for the hard bop approach of his trumpet, Gransden’s singing voice has been compared to that of Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra.



An Evening with Soul-Jazz Flautist Althea Rene

“The Original Soul-Jazz Flautist” Althea Rene brings her unique branding of a typically classical instrument to our stage, and boy does she bring it!
Althea René gained musical inspiration from her father Dezie McCullers (one of Motown’s original Funk Brothers). With her own creative style, some regard her as one of the world’s most exciting solo improvisational flutists.

A Night with Charlotte’s Own Howard McNair: Jazz, Soul, R&B Birthday Celebration

Local jazz favorite Howard McNair has traveled the world with artists across genres of gospel, jazz, rhythm and blues, and hip hop – prominent musicians such as Mike Phillips, Carol Riddick, and The Hamiltones. We celebrate his birthday and the drop of his next single together July 7th!
