TWO TIME Grammy Award Winner and Rippingtons Saxophonist, Jeff Kashiwa!

 
Having Established himself in the 1990s as one of the most diverse saxmen in contemporary jazz during his decade long tenure with The Rippingtons, Kashiwa’s instincts led him to more dynamic endeavors through his solo career. In 2004, Kashiwa founded The Sax Pack, a trio of saxophone headliners, featuring himself, Steve Cole and Kim Waters. The group released two CDs together and charmed audiences with their Rat Pack style reparte’ in tours across the U.S and abroad.

In 2006, Jeff reunited with The Rippingtons for their 20th anniversary Tour and continues to record and tour with the group as often as his busy schedule will allow. His CD let It Ride features a host of great musicians in the world of Contemporary Jazz; Russ Freeman, David Benoit, Chuck Loeb and Tom Schuman of Spyro Gyra. Let It Ride has been in the top 4 Best Sellers in Smooth Jazz on Amazon.com for the past few weeks.

Robyn Springer presents her Jazzy Soul Series on October 16 at 7pm and 9:15pm! A native of New York City, Springer has recorded on such labels as Atlantic, Transparent and Verve/ Forecast. Springer, a first-alto, boasts a versatile and sultry style known to transport audiences from church pews to Delta juke joints to downtown jazz cafes.

Rodney Shelton and Eric Brice Present Kevin Jones: The Songs of Bill Withers and Al Jarreau! Join us for the continuation of our most popular series on October 21 at 7pm!

John Dillard, returns to Middle C with his Sunday series! On Sunday, October 24 at 6pm, JD Presents: FLO’n with Marcus Johnson! Johnson is an independent Billboard-ranked, internationally acclaimed jazz keyboardist, and NAACP Image Award Nominee and has the distinction of having his groundbreaking 2008 Billboard Top 20 Contemporary Jazz FLO (For the Love Of) Anthology.

Maria Howell presents… “Tryin’ To Tell You Something”! This inaugural workshop will focus on STAGE PRESENCE! Participants will learn how to be intentional, authentic, and purposeful…while gaining a deeper connection with their audience.
