Trombonist Jeff Bradshaw Cures What Ails Ya
“MR MAGIC SLIDE”
Jeff Bradshaw’s album “The Cure”, released September 12, is musical medicine for the stress of daily life. Along for the trip are Jazz heavyweights Grammy® winners Anthony Hamilton, Dave Hollister, and Jeff Lorber.
The 10-song collection by Bradshaw, an NAACP Image Award nominee nicknamed “Mr Magic Slide”, takes flight on the wings of the summer’s hottest viral moment. Stuck on a airplane experiencing hours-long flight delays, Bradshaw, as part of the Summer Horns tour, serenaded the full plane of passengers. Caught on a cell phone, this feel-good moment resonated across social media landing the story on news outlets nationwide including Good Morning America.
“The world today has a disease of heated division and negative discourse. We need a cure. God’s love through music is The Cure… I loved making this album. Each song sets a certain mood, and that’s why it’s The Cure for whatever ails ya.”
Jeff Bradshaw takes a break from his feature spots with Dave Koz and The Summer Horns and Patti Labelle to share his new album. He lands at Middle C Jazz on October 18.
